Healthcare Career Readiness | Ages 17+
Resources by Renae’s CNA Exam Preparation program offers in-person, hands-on instruction
for students ages 17 and older who are interested in healthcare careers and preparing for the
Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) examination.
This nine-week program introduces students to the knowledge, practical skills, and professional
expectations associated with nursing assistant responsibilities. Through guided instruction,
demonstrations, and realistic practice scenarios, students develop confidence and prepare for
the CNA examination.
What Students Will Learn & Practice:
Students participate in instruction and hands-on activities covering:
● The 22 CNA clinical skills
● Medical terminology and basic patient-care concepts
● Measuring and recording vital signs
● Infection prevention and control
● Patient safety and proper procedures
● Professional communication and patient interaction
● Healthcare workplace professionalism and responsibilities
● Written CNA examination concepts and test-taking strategies
● Skills demonstrations, mock scenarios, and guided practice
● Final skills evaluation and exam-readiness review
Instructional Format
Program Length: 9 weeks
Class Frequency: Once per week
Class Duration: Approximately 3 hours per session
Instruction: In-person, hands-on learning
Recommended Ages: 17 and older.
Tuition & Fees
Standard Tuition: $800 for the complete nine-week program.Life Skills Academy Student Rate: $750 for the complete nine-week program.The discounted rate is available to students who are currently enrolled in or have previously completed Resources by Renae’s Life Skills Academy.
Tuition includes in-person instruction, hands-on practice, instructional materials and activities, eligible career exploration opportunities, and one set of scrubs. Transportation to field-based activities and external CNA examination or certification-related fees are not included in tuition.
Program Outcomes
Students completing the program will have opportunities to strengthen their understanding of CNA examination concepts, practice essential nursing assistant skills, and develop greater
confidence in healthcare-related learning environments.
Resources by Renae’s existing adult CNA Exam Preparation program has maintained a 100% pass rate among participants. This historical result does not guarantee future examination
outcomes.

Participation in or completion of this course does not guarantee eligibility for, passage of, or certification through the Florida CNA examination.
